I’m Silenced.
I always loved BasketBall, and infact, it was for this, I changed my school when I was in the 7th standard. I came to the new school and got trained (basically) and was in the team for 4 years since then.
Our school then started hosting a yearly BasketBall tournament. Today, the 5th Tournament was inaugurated. We’ve played the tournament every year for the past 4 years.
BUT, since i was in 12th this year, i.e. the last year at school, I was asked not to be in the team, by my parents.
And guess what, The TEAM won the first ever victory in the home court.
It was a stunning victory and I whole heartedly congratulate them.
But, there I was, right in the gallery, watching my other teammates, rejoice in joy, on the first win !!
(Still, I love my parents !!)
I can understand your feelings man…
I’m sorry that i cannot express my thankfulness to you, Kenney, for that comment.
I’ve been always working behind events, putting in my full efforts. Rarely it get noticed and my friend just dont gove me a shit.
And here’s another one. !!!
Failures and Testing-Times are said to make one more strong.
It seems that I’ll soon become the strongest man in the world, atleast in India !!!
Hmm… Sad! But, what parents do are *generally* good for the children.
Now, finish up your XII std, get into a college, and play there! Its far too prestigious to be in a college BB team dude!
Smile now
@Rajat Arora
I’m not getting it right in the studies either..
And many many thanks for the comment brother.
You’re really great
Cheer up pal. DOn’t let this bring you down. Rajat has a nice point there,
Hmm.
Thanks for having that word, Sathya
Thanks a lot !!
Now you might be a bit sore at the comments, don’t be! Focus on your studies, get some nice marks, and get into your dream college! This might seem like lecture, it will pay off in the long run!
Cheers
I’m now feeling well and okay.
No worries !!
And Sathya, I’m trying to do exactly that, but the dream college part is the prob.
I am yet to set a solid dream like that.
I know one thing, I’m hate (pure)office work.
I feel that I’ve got many ideas on my own, and i feel that one day I’ll realize what’s now in my mind.
It’s not about getting a job, it’s far far more than that.
[...] I wasn’t really silenced. This is a confession. A major one. I had written a post titled I’m Silenced long back. There I had said that I wasn’t allowed to play in the team because my parents [...]
