My First Online Shopping !!
Shopping online was one of my long-cherished dreams. Since, I didn’t have a Credit Card, I couldn’t. But then, I applied for Internet Banking Facility of The Federal Bank.
Shopping online was actually scary at first. Because, You see no people, you talk to noone, just some clicks and it’s done (normally!!). I was really doubtful whether it would work all right or not.
My sis wanted to buy a new phone and upon searching we found a Rs, 6400 package at Sify Shopping that contained,
- Nokia 5300 XpressMusic
- 256 MB Memory Card
- Data Cable
- Headset
It was a great deal considering the fact that, if bought from an retail outlet, it would cost us around Rs. 9000-10000. So, we decided to buy it online.
Cash was deposited into my account. Created a new account at Sify and we made the purchase. Thank God, everything turned out to be nice. Successfully transferred the money and our order was marked “InProcess”.
Now, we are waiting for the package to be delivered sometime next few days. Will update when we’ve recieved it.
So, dont keep away from online shopping because of fear. It’s all good and simple.

the only thing I’ve bought via online shopping was a Data Cable for my old Nokia 6610, 4-5 years back..

I’ve done a bit of online shopping via Credit Card – purchasing 2 flickr accounts(1 gifted to my sister), registered my domain,and ofcourse my Bluetooth headset
Not to forget I pay all my bills – credit card, Mobile Phone, Internet, etc online. I cant imagine how it would be if it wasnt for online transactions

I cant own a Credit Card since I;m under 18 years of age.
I do most of my shopping online, I cant think of paying my phone bills, internet bills railway tickets etc without online transactions.
Even I was apprehensive about shopping online few years back when I did for first time, it was a data cable.
It seems everyone’s first online shopping is for a Data Cable !!
